BoardFree was founded in 2005, when Dave Cornthwaite began to prepare for two record-breaking journeys on his longboard. With Holey Truck's help, Dave became the first person to skate the length of Britain from John O'Groats to Lands End, and then he pushed over 3600 miles across Australia to break the world distance record. Dave skated on the same set of Holey trucks all the way across the UK and Australia. He tightened them only once in 4500 miles.
